Is it safe to give my dog hemp oil while on Nexgard for fleas?

I recently bought a help oil item for my dog but she is also battling fleas. The collar she usually uses isn't working and may be defective. She will be going on Nextguard shortly and I wanted to know if you can tell me if there are any interactions I need to be concerned about between the oil and the chewable flea treats. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 16 years and 7 months old | 50 lbs

I'm assuming you mean hemp oil, not help oil. As of yet, we have very little research on CBD oil in veterinary patients, so we do not know if there are any potential health concerns or drug interactions in dogs. Due to that, I would stop giving Cinnamon the hemp oil before giving her the Nexgard. Best of luck.
