My dog chewed an empty permethrin cream tube. Is it poisonous?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 90 lbs

My Tripper got an empty tube of perethmin cream and was chewing on it... The tube was empty but he may have got a little. He grabbed it off the counter... Im going nuts im treating this scabies crap trying to keep him from licking me then this happens.. please advise..

Hello, sorry to hear about Tripper. Ingestions can cause neurologic signs such as trembling and seizures, however this is dose and weight dependent. Since it was an entire rube, although unsure how much he got into, it would be wise to contact the ASPCA pet poison control hotline to obtain the most information on risks, side effects and toxic doses. ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center Phone Number: (888) 426-4435 If you see any signs of trembling or seizure like activity, then have him evaluated by a veterinarian immediately.
