Convenia, I asked in the morning about if convenia could cause limping in dogs. The urgent care dr that saw my dog in the weekends said it shouldn't, but my dog is lethragtic and he limps for little when he moves, and he just threw up. Yesterday he didn't want eat much and today he just ate. So I am not sure his threw up acid from not eating for too long or it is a side effect from convenia, and if he is not limping due injection what could it be. I am so worried about my dog.

There are many possible causes of lameness and an injectable antibiotic given under the skin would be very unlikely to cause it. Injuries, joint pain from fever, spinal/nerve pain and foreign bodies such as splinters would be more common. A full physical exam and xrays would be recommended and may also determine the cause of the poor appetite and vomiting
