My female cat 3 years old is losing all of her fur. She is a hybrid Selkirk rex and is related to the Deven Rex Family. Could it be in her genes? Pet's info: Cat | Selkirk Rex | Female | spayed | 2 years and 11 months old | 8 lbs

If there are no areas of irritation, redness, swelling, and if she is not bothered by the hair loss, it is likely that this is a genetic predisposition for alopecia. If you have concerns, you can always have a veterinarian take a look at her and perform so simple tests to rule out a skin infection or skin parasites. I hope this helps!
