Busu could have this rash for many reasons. It could range from parasites to an allergic reaction. You may try supplementing him with an omega-3 fatty acid supplement for pets. I don’t recommend to attempt any topical treatment since cats groom themselves so frequently and most products are not meant to be ingested. If the area does not get better after 2 to 3 weeks or if it gets worse, have him seen by the veterinarian. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
