My dog is vomiting repeatedly and now won't eat. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 2 days old | 29.542 lbs

Kyra vomited on March 22 (Friday) -see photos, then on April 4 (Thursday), and the today April 7 (Sunday)-see photos. On both March 22 and April 4, Kyra was still eating and active. But as of today, she is not eating and drinks only water. Kyra is fully vaccinated with the DHLPP and Anti-rabbies vaccination. However, she is stubbornly persistent about getting a way to eat other dog's and human's diarrhoea excretion found in the bushes of the street. Yes some humans are disgusting. What do I do?

Poor Kyra! Certainly she could have eaten something making her sick. I'm concerned that she is not eating, and because of that in addition to her other symptoms, I think she should see a vet. I would take her into a vet first thing in the morning to be treated. Best of luck.
