My sugar glider ate cork wood and is straining to poop. Help!

I have a sugar glider and it stopped pooping because he ate cork wood (we removed the cork wood toy) and now he is trying really hard to poop even shaking when he poops but he cant. I live in Europe in Slovakia so I do not have any vets around me. I am not sure what I should do to help him digest. Its been 7 days after he ate the cork wood.

Thanks for reaching out about your sugar glider. Are there no veterinarians in Slovakia at all, you might have to drive as this seems very serious and likely fatal if not addressed very soon. Straining and not able to defecation, can lead to intestinal ruptures or worse. Good luck.
