My dog has parvo and is vomiting. How to help him keep food down?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | 3 months and 20 days old

My dog was a happy chappy Friday morning whe I left work. The afternoon I found him pooping and vomiting and too him to the vet saterday morning. The vet discovered that the dog has parvo virus and started treatment immediately. He gave me darrow solution I should give my fur baby and he went back today for his treatment and I also made the rice chicken butter nut. He is struggling to keep his food in and te solution I give him every hour. What can I do to help him keep down his food.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Giggs. I am sorry to hear about his diagnosis. I will typically prescribe these puppies an anti-nausea medication to help control any nausea and vomiting. It can help keep food and medications down and make them feel a lot better. Cerenia is my first choice, but there are other options available. I would discuss this possibility with his veterinarian. I hope this information helps!
