We noticed some scabs on our dog’s nose. She also has bumps on her forehead. Any idea?

Scabs like that can be a few things. Sometimes it’s a one time infection. Sometimes it’s related to allergies and sometimes it can be related to hypothyroidism. Your fastest option is to have her examined by the veterinarian. Lesions on the nose may not heal very well with topical medication because pets lick it off. Often they are prescribed systemic medications since they travel in the bloodstream. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Those scabs look like a staph bacterial skin infection. It is recommended you take her to your vet for an exam and to get some antibiotics. It is hard to treat that area topically because it is so close to her eyes. Most topical medications to treat this condition cannot get in the eyes. She needs oral antibiotics. If this was anywhere else on her body I was give you some ideas on how to treat it at home but not with where her lesions are located. I hope this helps. Best wishes!

These could be from a wound or from a skin infection. I would watch them closely. You can put a little neosporin on them as long as they aren't close to the eyes. If they are getting worse or not improving I would have your vet look st them. She may need some antibiotics or other meds to help clear them up.
