My dog is teething and in pain. Can I give them human pain medication?

My Mia is teething really bad right now because she has some adult teeth coming in. She won’t eat, even her favorite items, she’s whining a lot and not sleeping. Bad timing for her to be on deworming medications... anywho, is there a pain relief medication that is safe for dogs to use to help with the pain? I know for humans ibuprofen and Tylenol help with pain but I’m not sure how it works for animals. Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 3 months and 6 days old | 25 lbs

No, human pain medications are not safe for dogs. Many are toxic and can be fatal if given. If Mia is in a lot of pain, you need to take her into a vet immediately to get pain relief. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
