I have scabies. My dog is losing hair. Can he catch it from me?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 90 lbs

I have got scabies some how, I dont know how I dont go anywhere or do anything exept take trip out to potty. I know that they cant survive on him but it looks like he is starting to lose hair on his belly. Im kinda stuck here, i dont know what to do for him. He wants to play with me all the time but i dont want to get these nasty things on him. The first round of treatment didnt work. What do i do

Mites are species specific. This means human scabies mites cannot survive for long or breed on dogs. They may cross back and forth between you and your dog though. He may develop a rash from the mites. If he itches or chews, he could make it worse. Have him examined by your veterinarian to make sure Tripper doesn't need antibiotic treatment or medication to stop the itching.
