What can I give my dog for motion sickness during car rides?

My dog gets motion sickness when driving and I am moving to a city which requires a lot of driving. Are there any meds or remedies I can give him? Thanks! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 6 years and 8 months old | 22 lbs

Sure thing! Since we haven't physically examined your pet, the policy here is that we cannot prescribe medication to Buster unfortunately, but your vet can easily prescribe a motion sickness medication for Buster with a simple phone call in most cases, especially if he was seen within the last year. Also an alternative over the counter medication can be recommended to him as well. I hope that you are able to help him out for those frequent car rides! I have even heard of an owner who would simply place an e-collar (from your local pet store) on her pet and this eliminated the motion sickness altogether. Its worth a shot!
