Why is my dog gaining weight, aggressive, and chewing her tail?

My dog Athena was hit by a car about 2 years ago ,thankfully she was alright then but it seems maybe over time it's become a real problem, she gained excessive wieght and chews her tail sumtimes til it bleeds,she has low energy,aggressive at times and become vary unpredictable and moody,what's wrong.
