My dog's paw pad is deeply cut. What immediate steps should I take?

My dog cut the pad of his paw it looks deep what should I do

Deep cuts many requires stitches. Finn needs to see the veterinarian as he will likely be put on antibiotics. If it doesn't require stitches, it will require multiple bandage changes and apply a salve to encourage wound healing. You must make sure Finn does not lick at the cut as this will make it worse and he should wear an elizabethan collar at all times. You must also keep the pad/bandage clean and dry at all times.
