Why is my puppy suddenly lethargic, not eating, and constipated?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | 6 months and 2 days old | 10 lbs

My puppy is acting lethargic and refuse everything he eats. He was a hyperactive dog. But he doesn't poop always and doesn't have blood in his poop. He is very sleepy and struggling to stay awake.

These symptoms are always concerning in a puppy. If Muffin did not have a complete set of vaccines when he was younger, parvo or distemper is a possibility, even without blood in the stool. Hypoglycemia or liver disease could also cause these symptoms, and could be a concern if your Husky is only 10 pounds at 6 months. I would recommend that he be checked out by a vet ASAP.
