Hello, thank you for your question about Sandi. Lethargy is a nonspecific symptom, meaning that it could be a sign of many different underlying conditions. She could have a systemic infection or other condition. I think it is unlikely that her lethargy is related to the deworming tablets, since those were given 2 weeks ago and usually symptoms develop shortly after ingestion. I would recommend having Sandi seen by a veterinarian so that they can perform an examination and discuss the need for additional diagnostics. They may recommend performing bloodwork. Hope this helps, I am sorry that Sandi is not feeling well!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I'm sorry to hear Marley has been feeling off. Were the tablets prescribed by a veterinarian or over the counter? Depending on the medications in them, it could be causing GI upset. It could all be secondary to the intestinal parasites, or it could be due to something else entirely (dietary indiscretion, infection, foreign material ingestion, or another underlying issue). As it has been several days, I would recommend having Marley evaluated by a veterinarian to determine if there is something going on that needs to be addressed in order to get him back to his usual self. Good luck!
