Why does my dog wake up panting at night then go back to sleep?

My dog has been waking up the past three nights panting around 2 am for a couple minutes then falls back asleep. She sleeps at the end of our bed. She wakes up completely normal in the morning. Should we be concerned? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 3 years and 3 months old | 55 lbs

If she's otherwise entirely normal (eating normally, drinking normally, good energy during the day, seems like herself behaviorally/mentally), I wouldn't be too concerned about this middle of the night behavior. Everything I can think of (seizures, neck pain, other pain, metabolic issues) would also cause issues during the day. That said, if she keeps it up for a week or more, a general vet appointment may be good to confirm nothing is going on.
