Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 1 month old
My friend recently got a puppy, and the puppy has just turned 8 weeks today April 3rd, 2019. The puppy is a German Shepherd mix. But my friend is saying that he is not going to get this dog ANY of the shots needed. I’ve been trying to convince him that the puppy needs atleast some of the shots, but he does not listen. Is there something I could do or say or something cheap i could buy for him for his dog? The puppy had come from my dads dog so I care about him a lot.

Porky is completely susceptible to parvo virus and distemper virus. Parvo virus is highly contagious and lives in the soil for up to 10 years. It is also 90-95% FATAL without treatment. And treatment ranges from $500-5000. It’s a lot cheaper and easier to pay for a few rounds of vaccines. Distemper has a bit better survival rate but is still expensive to treat. Oh and it can cause seizures, death, and long-term complications. I won’t even get into the legal ramifications of not doing a rabies vaccine.... There are many places that do lo-cost vaccine clinics if cost is a factor. Hope this helps. Best wishes to you and Porky!
