Why is my dog's eye blue and green after bath with non-dog shampoo?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 9 months old | 20 lbs

Hi, I have a question about my dogs eye. I took him a bath about 2 days ago and I used dawn dish liquid and my son's AXE shampoo :'( because I didnt have any dog shampoo and he was really dirty. Some shampoo might have gotten in his eye but I'm not sure, but ever since the bath his eye hasn't been the same. It was closed shut and green stuff was coming out. So today he seems fine and has his eye opened but still squints and I just noticed his eye looks like its turning blue! :( Can u help me!

I would recommend having Rubble’s eye examined by your vet right away - it sounds like the shampoo could have caused a corneal ulcer. The blue color could be from corneal edema. The vet might want to stain Rubble’s eye to look for an ulcer and can prescribe appropriate drops.
