My dog is suddenly dizzy and restless. Could it be a stroke or heart attack?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 7 years and 3 months old | 100 lbs

I have a 7yr old pitbull he all of a sudden with in the last hour started acting real paranoid and dizzy. He can't lay still for very long. Can a dog suffer from a stroke or heart attack like humans?

Hello. While possible, it is unlikely. I'd be more concerned that Brucie got into something, such as garbage, something toxic, or found some medication of drugs that had been dropped. We also see something called vestibular syndrome which causes an imbalance in the inner ear. If you can have Brucie examined tonight, that would be best just in case this turns into a more serious situation. I hope he is doing better soon.
