Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Female | spayed | 28 lbs
My 10 year old cocker spaniel is anemic and bleeding internally, vet did scans and said she has lots of nodules and there was not much they could do for her unless she had an exploratory operation but they think it’s cancer and they would put her to sleep. Is there anything else u can do for her

Poor Hollie, I have seen cases like hers several times and I must admit unless the nodules are only on the spleen.. there is not much sense in putting her through a surgery. In a way you will know exactly what is happening..if the nodules are on the spleen only they could take out her spleen then send it to be examined to see what kind of tumour it is. It’s a hard decision to take. Hope you find the best decision for you.
