My dog ate a blanket, threw up. Is her stomach gurgling normal now?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 11 days old | 52 lbs

I did not witness my dog chew off and eat part of a blanket but around 1030 at night she threw up part of a blanket before she threw up she seemed fine and after the threw up she was fine. It's not 330 in the morning and when I woke up I heard her stomach gurgling loudly. She still seems normal let's me touch her belly and all. Is the gurgling normal?

It could be Dyna's stomach is upset from the vomiting and eating the blanket. Keep an eye on her for the rest of the night and if the gurgling continues or she starts vomiting again, have her seen by a vet. Best of luck.
