My cat makes crunching noises without opening mouth. Is it teething?

My cat is making crunching noises while laying next to me lately, he is not showing on anything while making crunching noises nor is he opening his mouth, he eats normally and is not above biting his toys. Should I be concerned about these noises? Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 5 months and 14 days old
