My dog has a pink line on his lip. Is it normal or an infection?

Can you please look his upper lips as shown in pics it is sone different color is it some infection or normal to have this pink line on sides and when I took him to get he did not told me anything but provide prednisolone 10mg twice only for one day. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 4 months old

I am sorry Bruno is not feeling well. It is very hard to tell by a picture but it appears the skin is very inflamed. Almost like a hot spot around the mouth. The prednisone should decrease inflammation and redness making Bruno more comfortable. If it does not resolve or becomes worse I would make sure to re check at the vet. This could be caused by allergies or just irritate the skin. Hope that helps
