My dog was attacked and now screams at other dogs. How to help?

hi my name is rolando, and my 7yo schnauzer is named kylo, we got him about a month ago but when he was with his previous owners he was attacked when he was 1 by a pitbull and needed surgery, but to this day when he sees any other dog he freaks out and it almost sounds like he's screaming, how can i help him with this? Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Male | neutered | 15 lbs

This can be a very hard behavioral issue to fix. I would recommend getting a trainer who specializes in this type of behavior to come to your house and start working with you all. It will take lots of reassurance and patience to break through his fears
