My puppy vomited and is lethargic after Trifexis. What should I do?

My miniature golden doodle (9 months old) had a dosenof Trifexis today. 2 hours later she vomited, and is now very lethargic. Is there anything I can do to help her? Pet's info: Dog | Goldendoodle | Female | spayed | 9 months and 15 days old | 26 lbs

Poor Ember! Vomiting and lethargy are both common side effects of Trifexis, and do not usually indicate any kind of serious problem. But, you could certainly opt to use a different flea and heartworm medication for her in the future to avoid this issue. For tonight, I would withhold food and leave her alone to rest since she doesn't feel well. If she's still acting noticeably lethargic tomorrow, or if she develops any other symptoms, then I would call your veterinarian or take her in for a check-up to make sure nothing else is wrong.
