Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) | Female | unspayed | 5 lbs

My tiny daschund acted sick 3 days ago with some blood noted in her right ear and mouth. The next day she appeared to possibly be snake bitten. She had a some blood running from her hip area on her left side, her left eye was pertruding out a bit and her neck swollen and hanging and she appeared thinner and bonier. This is a medical emergency, and Princess has to see a vet now. You cannot treat this at home, and if you leave her like this, she could die. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
