Why does my poodle sit sideways? How to tell if it's toy or miniature?

I was wondering why my poodle sits on his side sometimes? And how do I know if it will be toy or miniature? His paws r really big

Some dogs dog naturally favor sitting on one hip or the other. It can also indicate a problem with the hip so it is very important to watch for any signs of lameness. Poodles are classified as toy or miniature by the adult weight and the two can be interbred. That means you can guess how big he will be based on the size of his parents but you won't know until he is full grown. Louie will be full grown around 8-10 months of age most likely.
