My 7-year-old Jack Russell has a growing eye lump. Is it an infection?

Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | spayed | 6 years and 2 months old

Hi I have a female Jack Russell. She is 7 years old. She has developed a lump under her eye which seems to be getting bigger. She is fine in her self and eating. Was just wondering if it could be an infection.

It's difficult to know for certain without being able to feel in person, but this could be a tooth root abscess (even though she is still eating), or it could be some kind of tumor or growth. There are also lymph nodes in this area and it is possible that this is an enlarged lymph node. I would definitely recommend seeing your veterinarian so they can determine what this might be.
