My puppy has a stomach lump or abscess. What to do without a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 18 days old | 2 lbs

One of my puppies almost 3 weeks old has this lump or abscess on her stomach and I'm not sure what to do or if I can do anything and I don't have the money to go to a vet right now

Unfortunately, Spot really should be seen by a veterinarian. If it is an abscess, that is one serious infection that needs to be addressed. It could also be a severe hernia. The swelling may be caused by loops of bowel that have slipped through a defect in the muscle wall. This will require surgery to repair. If left untreated, it is possible the bowel could become twisted or strangulated which would be an emergency and potentially life threatening.

    This looks like a severe abscess which may have spread to her blood given the severity of the symptoms you describe. She requires urgent veterinary attention and may require intravenous antibiotics and possibly surgical cleaning of the wound
