My duck is sick, walking slow, with a hard black spot. What is it?

The duck is sick. It has been like this for 15 days. There is no change in eating or anything except it is walking very slow. This black place is hard, round and dry. What is this and how it is happened? What would be the medicines? Pet's info: Bird | Duck | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 28 days old

Thanks for reaching out, this appears to be a dried wound and veterinary attention is needed, ASAP. This might require some surgical debridement. Systemic antibiotics are probably required but also protection from flystrike. Good luck.
