Why is my turtle's shell peeling like skin and not shedding properly?

My turtle shell is peeling off like a skin not like a hard scale. its been 2 weeks and it not coming off. It's a local pond turtle. Pet's info: Amphibian | Unknown - Amphibian | Male | unneutered

Thanks for reaching out about Tintin and including photos. Not sure if this looks like a normal shed, with the red areas possible infections. A veterinary visit is recommended, because if an infection, systemic antibiotics (injections) are probably needed. Keep water quality clean. Good luck.
