Why is my dog so tired after vet visit and Cerenia for diarrhea?

I took my dog Mia into the vet today because she was given pain medicine for a dislocated knee. But she was having a bad reaction and gave her extremely bad diarrhea. The vet gave her 250 mg Metronidazole some FortiFlora K-9 Nutrition and 10 mg of Cerenia. Since the vet this morning she has had very low energy and hasn’t had to go to the bathroom (besides pee). Should I be concerned she is just lying down all day or is this a good sign? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 11 lbs

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Mia. Sometimes Cerenia can make a dog sleepy. It is a good sign that she has not had any more diarrhea. If she is eating and has not developed any new symptoms, then I would continue to monitor her. If she is not acting more normal by morning, then I would contact her veterinarian.
