Dog's vulva swollen and purple after fall. What does it mean?

My dog recently fell down the stairs. Afterwards her vulva startes to get bigger and more purple. What does that mean? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 5 lbs

Hi, it is normally difficult to get away injury to the vulvar area even during a fall, as this is quite protected by the tail and normally as you roll down the stairs you hurt other parts of your body first. Would it be possible that Blanca is going into season ? It might be that the swelling is not related to the fall. However it is hard to tell without being able to check her over !
