Just got a 10 week old Akita German Shepard mix. He whines all the time and follows me around everywhere. Is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 13 days old | 35 lbs

Yes. It can be traumatic for young puppies to leave their mom, litter mates, and previous home that they knew. He needs to develop a new bond with you and learn a new home/environment/routine to gain confidence. Keep working with him and with time and becoming older he will learn.
