Dog chewing air for 2 days, eating fine. Is it a loose tooth?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Long Coat) | Female | spayed | 6 months and 6 days old | 4 lbs

My dog is chewing but there is nothing in her mouth. She still eating and drinking 100% normally, no committing at all, and not drooling. She’s been doing this for 2 days now. I don’t know if she’s loosing her tooth or what. Help.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Azumi. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian today. She could have a loose tooth as you mentioned, but most puppies do not have such trouble. Her mouth needs to be evaluated to see if she has a wound or a foreign object stuck in there. I have seen dogs with pieces of plastic, fabric or even toys lodged in their mouths. I hope this information helps!
