Why does my bulldog vomit clear slime every time he drinks water?

I have a 10 month old bulldog and every time he drink water he vomit a clear slime substance if he drinks water with his food he vomits the same substance mixed with his food if he eats his food without water nothing happens. Pet's info: Dog | American Bully | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 12 days old | 58 lbs

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Especially in bulldogs, it is not uncommon for them to exhibit regurgitation of their water or food. This is due to their conformation, as brachycephalic dogs. I recommend contacting your regular veterinarian to let them know that Thor is having these clinical signs. There are medications that can be used to help treat regurgitation, such as metoclopramide, which functions to keep the GI tract moving food and water in the right direction. I hope this is helpful!
