My dog is 6 weeks pregnant. Can she really go into labor this early?

How early can a dog go into labor she's 6weeks by my counting and her temp yesterday was in the 99•f all day today it's 100.04im just abit worried

Dogs typically have their puppies anywhere from 57-65 days after mating. So if she's only six weeks along, she's nowhere near time to whelp yet. Minor temperature fluctuations are normal - we don't consider it a true pre-whelping temperature drop unless her temp goes below 98 degrees.
