Puppy sniffling, reverse sneezing, coughing, and hacking. Is it serious?

My puppy has been sniffling, and what sounds like reverse sneezing or coughing. After her reverse sneezes, she seems like she is trying to get something out of her throat (almost like vomiting but nothing is coming out - sounds like she’s trying to hack up a hairball). She still has an appetite and is otherwise her regular self. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 26 days old | 55 lbs

Poor Scotia. It could be she is suffering from a respiratory infection. It's good that she is her regular self, but I would have her checked out by a vet. My recommendation is to take her into a vet in the morning. I hope this helps!
