My dog has a growing white bump under her skin. When to see vet?

My dog has a small white bump under her skin on her back by her left ribs. I think I first noticed it about a month ago and have been monitoring it. I think it may have gotten a little bigger. I just had to put my 20 year old cat down and really don’t want to have to deal with this. Please let me know if this looks like anything. I will eventually take her, I just don’t know if it’s something that needs to be rushed? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Female | spayed | 5 years and 8 months old | 5 lbs

I'm so sorry about your kitty. It's very normal to need time to process and grieve and not want to deal with things for a while. While any grown could be cancerous, this one doesn't look horribly suspicious. I would recommend getting her in before the end of April to have it looked at, or sooner if it's obviously growing.
