My dog is wheezing, lethargic, but eating. Should I take him to vet?

My dog keeps wheezing (they are wheezing episodes that last for at least 10 seconds each) but can eat and drink normally. He also seems lethargic. Do i take him to the vet? Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 65 lbs

There are a variety of causes for what you are describing, including an upper respiratory infection, tracheal irritation, asthma, allergies, or another underlying issue. As they are persistent and non-resolving, I would recommend Cooper be evaluated by his regular veterinarian to try to determine what may be going on, have any necessary testing done (xrays, etc) and start a treatment plan if needed.
