Is it normal for my hamster to poop a lot in its exercise ball?

I was wondering if it’s normal for my hamster to poop in her ball? It’s usually more than 5-10 pieces of poop. The poop isn’t soft or strange and it’s regular hamster poop consistency. Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Female | unspayed | 0.25 lbs

Hello, and thanks for your question. Yes, it’s normal for hamsters to defecate in their ball. They tend to relieve themselves whenever they feel the need, and when they’re inside the ball they don’t have a lot of options for where to do so! Hope this helps :-)
