My 17 week old, 35 pound golden retriever puppy swallowed a piece of cow ear roughly the size of a silver dollar without much resistance. Do I need to be worried?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. The answer is: probably not. I think it very likely to pass without incident. Nonetheless, keep an eye on Charlie over the next few days and take him in to see the vet if you see more than one episode of vomiting or sudden loss of appetite. Best wishes to you and Charlie!
