Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 32 lbs
My dog has had uncontrollable bowel movements for 2 days now. It started off solid but has now turned to liquid. I tried fasting her and then giving her boiled chicken and rice but she only seems to be getting worse. Her stool is brownish red but does not look to be blood but I am unsure. I plan to take her into the vet when they open. Any info on what could be wrong and what it may cost?

It sounds as Leela is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong. prices can vary greatly, it would typically start from around 100-150$.
