Hi my dog gave birth 3 weeks ago and has become extremely thin, she hardly eats and has been drinking lots of water. I have also noticed that she had a slight eye infection which now seems as it the pussy has cleared up but she constantly keeps her eyes closed and seems lethargic. she would also sometimes walk into objects its as if her vision is not 100% :( please help! Thank you for submitting your question regarding ICE. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian. I worry that nursing the pups has placed a huge toll on her body. If this is the case, eclampsia or low blood calcium can result. This can be very serious and requires prompt care. Her veterinarian will be able to diagnose this with a blood sample.
