I wonder if you can help me, I have put a deposit on a kitten 4 ½ weeks old, since leaving I am a bit worried as out of all the kittens she was the most sleepiest. I notice now looking back at the pictures her eyes seem glazed, all the kittens eyes were the same and the soft tissue around the eye looks a little gunky. I have read up about different infections they could develop in kittens. I look forward to hearing from you. Could you also tell me what breed she looks like please? Thank you

Hello, thank you for your question. She is going to be such a cute kitten! Based on the photos that you've provided and the symptoms that you are describing it seems likely that she had a viral upper respiratory infection. These are not uncommon in young kittens since their immune system is naive. Most of these infections resolve without further treatment and the cats can develop immunity over time. Based on the photos you've attached I can't say exactly which breed she is, but she could be a domestic shorthair. She has beautiful eyes and coat color. Hope this helps!
