My kitten has red spots under it's nose that look like scabs. Is he licking himself too much or what is happening?

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is hard to say what is causing the red lesions underneath the nose here for Ollie without seeing Ollie first. It could be an abrasion from friction during nursing or other trauma to the area. It could also be a bacterial or fungal infection potentially. If the lesions don't improve or go away soon I would recommend taking Ollie in to see a veterinarian to get them checked out in person.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I don’t like the look of that and am concerned about the spots. This could be an infection, an allergic reaction, or an auto-immune type problem. I’d recommend seeing your vet who will be able to see it much better and get a feel for how Ollie is doing overall. Best wishes to you all!
