Why is my senior dog suddenly aggressive and won't let me touch him?

My dog is old 13 years old he is a mix between a Jack Russell and terrier. In the last 3-5 months he has become severely aggressive, it is a worry to the family. He will not let anyone near him to check on him. Any advice? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 12 years and 10 months old

A sudden change in behavior can be caused by a medical illness. Given that Jimbo has recently become aggressive, I would take him into a vet for a health check. Now if you can't get him into the car, see if there is a mobile vet in your area that can come to the house to see him.
