How can I reduce my dogs feet smell? Also,why do they smell like corn chips?

Most dogs’ feet have a distinctive odor due to scent glands in the area. If Oscar licks his feet frequently or if the spaces between the toes seem red or irritated he could have an infection secondary to something like allergies, but usually the smell is different from typical ‘corn chips’. If you think he might be licking you should see your vet. Otherwise you could try washing his feet weekly with a dog shampoo.
