My parakeet's voice changed, but she's otherwise normal. What to do?

Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Female | unspayed | 1 year old | 0.41 lbs

My pet is a year old Alexandrian parakeet,she seems to have weird voice while she is chirping her eating habbits are quite normal and she is active like any other day ! What should i do?

Thanks for reaching out about Pattu. Voice change is sometimes associated with an infection in the syrinx (voicebox). A veterinary visit is important, as these infections can be bacterial, fungal, a foreign body, or other. Good luck.
